QUT Creative Enterprise Australia
QUT Creative Enterprise Australia (CEA) is an investment fund established by Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to support creative entrepreneurs across various industries, including fashion, design, animation, digital media, film and television, music, and gaming and software development. In 2014, CEA's Creative Enterprise Fund made its first investment in See-Out Pty Ltd, a visual trademark search engine company, to help it enhance its product features and reach commercial potential. This initiative marked CEA's expansion from a creative industries incubator to an investor in commercially viable creative enterprises. The Creative Enterprise Fund was set up with $1.2 million to address the lack of investment opportunities for creative businesses in Australia.
