Biomedical Translation Fund
The Biomedical Translation Fund (BTF) is an Australian Government initiative that provides venture capital to early-stage biomedical companies. Managed by licensed private sector fund managers, the BTF aims to develop and commercialise biomedical discoveries into tangible products, services, and outcomes. The fund has a total of $501.25 million, comprising $250 million from Commonwealth capital and $251.25 million from private sector capital. The program is administered by AusIndustry on behalf of the Department of Health.
