Meatable

Meatable was a Dutch biotechnology company founded in 2018, specializing in the production of lab-grown meat, particularly pork, using pluripotent stem cells from animal umbilical cords. The company aimed to address environmental and societal challenges associated with traditional meat production methods. In December 2025, Meatable announced its dissolution due to the inability to secure sufficient additional funding to continue operations beyond 2026.
