Arca is the peak industry association for organizations involved in the disclosure, exchange, and application of data for credit management in Australia. Established in 2006, it represents members accounting for 95% of consumer lending in the country, including major banks, mutual banks, consumer finance companies, fintechs, and credit reporting bodies. It develops and maintains industry rules and standards, such as the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code, and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure a robust and trusted credit system in Australia.
